Walking in the green and vibrant campus with teaching buildings of European styles, we can enjoy ourselves in this elegant and pleasant environment. Zhuzhou Foreign Language School, founded in 1999, is the first private school in Zhuzhou city. It was set up under the care of the leadership from our city and province. This beautiful school is located in Fenghuang Park in the south of Zhuzhou city in Human Province. Adhering to the best experience of 66-year-old Nanfang Education Group, absorbing the strict and truth-seeking working style, and based on the power from one of the first key schools in Hunan Province, it is growing up as a joint-stock school with distinct characteristics. 1、中考佳績，揚名三湘
在2017中考中，株洲外國語學校成績喜人，5A為231人（整個外國語集團5A有306人），5A率穩居全市第二，高出第三名學校4個百分點，4A1B人數為102人 ；超過90%的畢業學子的成績達到了省級重點中學的錄取線。語文、英語單科A等比例均超過60%。
同時，株洲最牛班級出爐!“一個班48個學生，竟有41個學生考5A！”中考成績揭曉，外國語清北班168班5A率高達85.4%，株洲最牛！看到這樣的成績，最牛班級班主任饒婷，同時也是株洲市外國語學?，F任校長，無比自豪！
1．Good Grades of High School Entrance Examination
In the 2017 High School Entrance Examination, Zhuzhou foreign language school has gained gratifying results.231 students got 5A (meaning all the five subjects get A respectively, and the number of 5A in Foreign Language Group has totaled 306). 5A rate of the city ranks the second, 4 percentage points higher than the third-place school. The number of 4A1B is 102; Over 90 percent of the graduates’ grades have reached the admission line of provincial key high schools. Grade A of Chinese and English have exceeded more than 60% respectively. At the same time, the most excellent class of Zhuzhou has appeared! 41 students of all the 48 students in Class 168 got 5A!" When results of this examination were announced, or to be specific the message that 5A rate of Class 168(Qinghua Class) was as high as 85.4 percent was spread, the most excellent head teacher, Rao Ting, who is also the headmaster of Zhuzhou Foreign Language School, was very proud!

Rao Ting, Executive headmaster of Zhuzhou Foreign Language School, is the host of National Excellent Subject, instructor of National Excellent Compositions, and the host of the first batch of National Chinese Topic Learning in Zhuzhou Workshop . 2、桃李芬芳，碩果累累
2017年7月22日，第58屆國際數學奧林匹克（IMO）又傳來喜訊，我校2014屆畢業生張騄原116班學生收獲了湖南省2017年唯一的一枚國際數學奧林匹克競賽金牌，也是外國語學子第九枚國際數理化生奧賽金牌。此前，他已經憑借國家奧賽報送了北京大學。當時任116班班主任的袁健峰老師說：“初一時，他寫過這么一句話‘漠中王者，非白楊莫屬；哈佛傳奇，非116班莫屬?！敃r我把他這句話裝裱好掛在了教室?！编?，現在看來，他果真成了傳奇。
2. Fragrant and Fruitful Results
On July 22, 2017, good news came from the 58th International Mathematical Olympiad (IMO) that Zhang Lu, who studied in Class 116 of our school from the year 2011 to the year 2014 got the only gold medal of IMO in Hunan Province, and he is also the 9th student of our school who gained international medal on the subject of science. Previously, he had be accepted to Peking University for his excellent performance in national Olympic Games of math. Yuan Jianfeng, who was the head teacher of Class 116 said: "when he was in grade 1 of junior high school, he wrote this sentence, “the king of the desert is undoubtedly poplar. Harvard legend, no doubt, belongs to Class 116. I mounted his sentence in the classroom.” Well, it seems he's truly a legend now.
辦18年來，辦學業績斐然，有數十人考取清華、北大，培養了9名國際數理化生奧賽金獎得主，其中就有大家熟悉的張騄、蔡李超、郭靖等。2016年上學期，我校國際交流再創輝煌。新加坡項目全省領先，我校李雨萌，江芷萌，黃子然和唐家圣四名同學成功考取新加坡公費留學， 通過率80%，遠超長沙四大名校，位居全省第一。如今，學校累計55名學生考取新加坡公費留學(居全省之首)，486位海外校友。歌德學院項目收獲驚喜，16位學生成為中德交換生，6位（2016年3位，2017年3位）考取德國政府十萬元獎學金。
For the past 18 years, the school has achieved outstanding achievement with dozens of people entering Tsinghua University and Peking University and nine students won international gold medals of subjects about science, among whom are the familiar Zhang Lu, Cai Lichao, Guo Jin and so on. In the first semester of 2016, our school's international communication reached another brilliant point. Our school led in Singapore project of Hunan Province. Li Yumeng, Jiang Zhimeng, Huang Ziran and Tang Gusheng successfully passed the exam to study in Singapore at public expense with passing rate at 80%, which had far surpassed 4 famous middle schools of Changsha, ranking the 1st provincially. Now 55 students have been admitted to Singapore for public education (the number of students ranks the first in the province) and there are 486 overseas alumni. The Goethe institute project was surprising since 16 students had become the exchange students with German schools, and six of them (three in 2016, three in 2017) won 100,000 scholarship from German government respectively.

Here came out a world badminton champion. Every year in the school sports meeting, Zheng Bo will be present to cheer for the students! Here also graduated Xiao Yaqin, who is called hero by American people for facing the threat of a knife-wielding assailant, she saved her tutor and was hurt herself. 3、梧桐更得今朝茂，種玉傳花不負卿

3. A Better School
Our poetry teacher Li Shizhen once wrote a beautiful poem about our school. In her poem, our school is just like an education pearl far away from the uproar. With Miss Li’s hard work, poetry teaching is growing vigorously.
株洲外國語學校詩教工作成績斐然。學校不僅開設了常規課程，由專業的老師教授格律詩詞寫作、對聯創作，而且全校學生每個人都有一套專門的詩教校本教材。而且每堂語文課前都有課前一誦，讓同學通過片段時間積累大量詩詞。除此之外，株外成立專門的學生社團“海棠詩社”，詩社出版了純詩詞刊物《海棠詩集》。在氛圍營造上面，株外在每一條過道、走廊，都懸掛了名家、或師生的詩詞、楹聯作品。因此，僅僅初中生的年紀，便能吟詩作對，所作詩作不僅可以上《海棠詩集》，而且在株洲日報、株洲詩詞、南楚新聲等上面刊登。
Poetry teaching of Zhuzhou Foreign Language School is remarkable. The school not only offers regular courses, but also provides professional poetry teachers to teach writing metrical poems and couplets. Meanwhile every student has a set of poetry textbooks. What's more, before each Chinese class, there is the time for reciting poems , which allows students to accumulate a large number of poems through fragments of time. Apart from that, there is a special student association named Haitang Poetry Society, which published a poetry publication Haitang Poetry. Every aisle and corridor hangs the poems and couplets of famous poets or teachers and students. As a result, even junior students can compose poems and couplets, and these poems were not only published in Haitang Poetry, but also appeared in Zhuzhou Daily, Zhuzhou Poetry and Nanchu New Voices.
今年又有好消息傳來，湖南省教育科學研究院決定把湖南省首屆初中傳統文化教學競賽于2017年9月21，22日放在我校舉行。這是對我校多年來詩教工作的肯定！
Another good news came this year, the first Hunan contest of traditional culture teaching was held on September 21st and 22nd, 2017 in our school. This is the approval for our school's poetry teaching work!

4、德才兼備，才華橫溢
學校推行以“愛”為核心的“九愛”德育模式，立足于未成年人思想道德建設實際，借鑒國內外文明建設成果，注重當代文明禮儀養成教育，在學生中開展“六禮一儀”（儀態之禮、餐飲之禮、出行之禮、交往之禮、學習之禮、觀覽之禮、告別少先隊奔向共青團儀式）基本文明禮儀規范養成教育。各種形式多樣、內容豐富的體驗式德育活動，凝聚團隊精神，培養學生生存意識、合作意識、感恩意識。
4. A Combination of Virtue and Talent
Our school carries out "nine love" moral education model with "love" as the core, which attaches importance to contemporary etiquette education based on the ideological and moral education of juveniles and civilization achievements abroad for reference. The basic etiquette education "six kinds of etiquette and one protocol" (etiquette of deportment, dining, going out, communication, learning, excursion, the ceremony of saying goodbye to the young pioneers and running to the communist youth league) is being carried out among students. Various and abundant moral education activities have cultivated team spirit and trained students' sense of survival, cooperation and gratitude.

For the past four consecutive years, the number of 5A students in our school grew in hundreds and 5A rate rose by ten percent growth point. This series of data have proved a fact, that is the new curriculum reform featured by cultivating people with moral education as the soul—the reform of curriculum. In line with the focus on students' concept of diversified development, the school fully integrates advantage resources of our education group to form distinctive curriculum system — rich curriculum system: scientific spirit, international communication, Chinese elements and the humanity elements. Our school develops 50 courses including the tennis course, rugby course, chess course, swimming course, simulated model United Nations, the ASDAN course, the STEAM course, Haitang Poetry Society, Chinese Learning Forum, English picture books, western cultural experience, model aircraft course, robots course, astronomy and meteorology course, broadcasting course, magic course, tea culture course, traditional operas course, dragon dance and lion dance course, tae kwon do course and relevant student associations.
5、師資雄厚、人才濟濟
每年教師節，經常來學?？赐蠋煹睦顫煞逡讶贿M入北京航空航天大學直博。這是吳四徠老師非常喜歡的一個學生，他眾多得意門生中的一位。其實從業28年，從青蔥年華到兩鬢未斑，吳四徠老師在這一尺講臺，方寸之地，奉獻了半生心血。但是，當說起學校時，外國語吳四徠老師用“半個世外桃源”來形容這個工作了28個年頭的地方。字里行間都透露出對自己學生的疼愛與對教師行業的熱愛。吳老師說，我是2007年來外國語的。第一屆帶了足足三年，烙下的深刻記憶！他們不僅學習優異，而且特別可愛。李紫薇生病了，在去后山運動場的上坡路段挽著我的手臂一臉惶恐地問：“老師，這生病會死不？”劉菁來學校住宿生活一個月了，爸爸來看她，每次都是抱著爸爸哭著，撒著嬌，好可愛！所以一直以來，在每屆家長會上我常常會重復一句話：“感謝家長們把孩子送到外國語，是他們帶給我豐富多彩的生活！現在孩子們也經常會回來看我。桃李不言、下自成蹊，默默耕耘于教師行業的吳四徠老師，度過了28年，送出了14屆學生。
5. Excellent Teachers and Talented People
Li zefeng, who often visits his teacher of our school, has been accepted by Beijing University of Aeronautics and Astronautics to become the doctor. He is one of Mr. Wu's favorite students. In fact, during the past 28 years, from the youth to the man with two grey temples, Mr.Wu, in this small teaching platform, dedicated half of his life to education. But when it comes to school, Mr. Wu uses "half like the world's paradise" to describe the past 28 years of his teaching here. Between the lines reveal their love for their students and their love for the teaching profession. Mr Wu said that Icame here from 2007. The first batch of students took me three years, leaving me deep impression! Not only do they learn to be excellent, but also they are very cute. Li Ziwei was ill, and on the way to the sports ground, she was afraid to ask, "Mr.Wu, will I die because of the illness?" Liu Jing had been living in the school for a month. Every time her father came to see her, she would hug her father and cry. How cute she was! So I always repeat one sentence at every parent's meeting, "many thanks go to you, my dear parents, for sending your children to Zhuzhou Foreign Language School, it is they who have brought me rich and colorful life! Now children often come back to see me." Having spent 28 years in our school, Mr.Wu has successfully delivered 14 batch of students to high schools.
優秀骨干語文教師吳四徠老師是株洲市外國語學校眾多優秀教師中的一位。株洲市外國語學?，F擁有專任教師154人，100%接受過大學本科及以上的高等學歷，32%位為碩士研究生，68%的教師接受過國際教育交流培訓項目或從事過對外教育交流，其中省、市級名師工作室主持人4人，省、市、區級學科帶頭人、骨干教師103人，高級教師89人，英、法、德、西班牙外國文教專家10人。我校鄧新艷老師的學生現在是中國駐澳大利亞參贊，明年將正式赴聯合國工作。學校分期分批將語言、社會學科教師派往香港，數學，科學教師派往新加坡，英語教師派往英國牛津、劍橋大學進行培訓。
Wu Silai is one of many outstanding teachers of Zhuzhou Foreign Language School. Zhuzhou Foreign Language School now has 154 full-time teachers, 100% of whom have received bachelor degree or above, 32% of whom got postgraduate degree, and 68% have got training of the international education exchange program, or engaged in international education exchange, including 4 teachers in Famous Teachers'Studio,103 provincial, municipal, and district-level discipline leaders, 103 backbone teachers,89 senior teachers, 10 cultural and educational experts of Britain, France, Germany and Spain. The teacher of our school, Deng Xinyan, are now Chinese counsellor in Australia and will go to work in the United Nations next year. Our school sends teachers teaching language and social science to Hong Kong, mathematics and science teachers to Singapore and English teachers to Oxford and Cambridge Universities for training.
6、國際視野、海派人才
為了培養學生的國際視野，我校一直保持著國際辦學標準。株洲市外國語學校是國家漢辦、省市國際交流項目定點學校，省國際交流協會常務理事單位，省政府中日交流、市政府中韓交流定點單位；100多位優秀外籍文教專家先后留校任教，全省領先；學校2010年被授予 “株洲市中小學外語教學科研培訓服務中心”。
6. International Vision, Overseas Talents
In order to cultivate students' international vision, our school has maintained the standard of international education. Zhuzhou Foreign Language School is a designated school of international exchange programs supported by National Hanban, executive director unit of Provincial International Exchange Association, the designated unit of China and Japan exchange for provincial government, and of China and South Korea exchange for municipal government; More than 100 outstanding foreign education experts successively taught in our school, leading the province; our school was awarded "research training service center of foreign language teaching for Zhuzhou primary and secondary school" in 2010.
學校每年都舉行“國際文化節”，學生用外語朗誦、演講、演劇、講故事、配音，提高口語表達能力。學校與美國哈佛世界教學組織合作，共建全外教“地球村”英語夏令營，來自美國哈佛大學、麻省理工大學等知名大學的數十名志愿者，和營員們同吃同住，在游戲和活動中交流學習；學校與英國、美國、澳大利亞、韓國、日本新加坡等國家10多所學校建立交流互訪與合作關系，利用假期組織學生赴海外學習交流，親身感受語言氛圍，擴大了視野，增長了見識，口語水平大大提高。當然，第二外語的開設也是外國語學校的特色，學生可以選擇德語、韓語等第二外語學習。
Our school holds "International Cultural Festival" every year, in which students use foreign language to read, speak, act the drama, tell stories, dub and improve oral e-xpression. Our school cooperated with Harvard World Teaching organization to build Global Village English summer camp. 10 volunteers from Harvard University, Massachusetts Institute of Technology and other famous university eat, live, play games and exchange ideas with our students; Our school has established exchange and cooperative relations with over 10 schools including the schools from Britain, the United States, Australia, South Korea, Japan, Singapore and other countries. Students of friendly schools will make full use of the holiday to go abroad and feel the atmosphere of foreign language. In a brand new environment, they will broaden their horizon and enhance their oral language significantly. Of course, opening course of a second foreign language is also a feature of Zhuzhou Foreign Language school. Students can choose German and Korean as a second language.
9人獲國際數理化生奧賽金獎，向新加坡輸送公費留學生55人，486位海外校友。16位學生通過歌德學院項目，成為中德交換生，6位考取德國政府十萬元獎學金。
9 students got the gold medals from the international mathematics, physics, chemistry or biology Olympiad competition. 55 students continued their study in Singapore and there are 486 overseas alumni. 16 students became the exchange student of China and Germany through Goethe institute program and 6 students won a scholarship of 100, 000 yuan from the German government.
